My sister gifted me with a wonderful present - a 8 month old Border Collie. I was visiting my hometown of Klamath Falls where she and her husband live on our family ranch. The neighboring ranch raises Border Collies for their herding dogs and my puppy failed the herding test - too much of a wimp :-). But that makes him perfect for me! He is quiet, calm and follows me everywhere and loves to hike. His name is Mac (for Macintosh). He is smart and has already learned several commands.
