I put my garden to sleep for the winter. As an experiment, I planted one bed in winter clover, covered another with leaves and dug compost into the last one. In the spring I will see which one has the happiest worms :-). I also planted garlic which has just came up and will be harvested in late spring.

So, don't forget to post your findings next spring, I'd really like to know the results. But ... how will you determine which worms are the happiest? Goofy grins, seeing if they are ecstatically squiggling around, or what?
